An as-yet-unnamed ensemble at UC San Diego We meet now and then to play and explore scores that are: 1) able to be comprehended and performed by musicians without rehearsal, individual practice, or more than a short explanation, with the knowledge that meaning and understanding will grow with time and repeated engagement with the pieces. 2) preferably open in instrumentation and number of players, to allow for participation by the musicians who are present. Past and present performers
